Vidám Delfin Campsite** and Boarding- House*** is situated in Tiszabecs, the most eastern corner of Hungary. River Tisza touches the country for the first time here, so Tiszabecs’ shores are the very firs spots for canoers to start paddling here. Based on pebbles, the waters are crystal clear. According to local people this is the ’blonde- Tisza’ itself. Both the campsite and the Boarding House are situated 80 m from the river shore (behind the flood causeway, in a safe place). You can walk to the beach easily.

 

Well equipped with modern showers, grassy flat areas, shadowed tent sites, neighbouring the Tisza- our campsite is said to be one of the most comfortable Campsites of the Upper- Tisza region. Barbecue spots, open- air table tennis, beach volleyball court are to be enjoyed free by our guests.

 

Our Boarding- House (of two buildings) can also be found inside the campsite. 7 three- bedded, 7 two- bedded and 2 four- or five- bedded as well as a large launge are at the guests’ disposal. The brick  buildings are newly- built, covered with tiles, each room having a bath (shower, toilet, washbasin). Tiling on the walls, wooden mosaics on the ceiling. Rooms simply furnitured.

Our guests may enjoy several programmes.

- about 150 kayaks and canoes are to be hired in order to tour the Tisza, Túr, Old- Túr. Journeys and returns home can be done with the help of our coaches/ buses.

- about 50 bikes to be hired. This way our guests are shown the historical and cultural sights of the region, e.g.: Milota, home of the nut; Tiszacsécse, protestant church and birth place of the great Hungarian writer Zsigmond Móricz; Tiszakóród: the dam; Szatmárcseke: Kölcsey memorial (great poet of our national anthem) and the wooden head boarded cemetery (unique in the world); Túristvándi, water mill, etc…

- winking at the Sub- Carpathean region; either individualy or via organized tours, wandering through the region is worth a visit!

- jeep trip to the source of the Black Tisza! One day -lasting organized program.

- fishing facilities

- car or coach/ bus trip through the Tisza area
