Outdoor classes:

In order let pupils be more inquisitive of domestic animals around as well as the local flora and fauna we support them with the opportunity of getting closer to country life. Lessons led by teachers all day long.

Day 1: Day of Animals, Plants, Places to live.

Studying natural forests, species of trees and bushes, birdwatching.

Day 2: Cultural-/ Historical Day.

Getting to know the local cultural- historical sights of the region, ((e.g.: Milota, home of the nut; Tiszacsécse, protestant church and birth place of the great Hungarian writer Zsigmond Móricz; Tiszakóród: the dam; Szatmárcseke: Kölcsey memorial (great poet of our national anthem) and the wooden head boarded cemetery (unique in the world); Túristvándi, water mill, etc…)) by making a one- day bike trip to: Tiszabecs- Milota- Tiszacsécse- Tiszakóród- Túristvándi- Szatmárcseke

Day 3: Day of the Country house

Visiting a typical local farm house in Tiszabecs where pupils can get to know farming tools.

Day 4: Day of the Water and its animals

Led by experts a canoe trip is made ont he Tisza (perhaps on Túr) where the local fauna can be studied and the traditional ways of fishing is shown by fishermen.

Day 5: Day of Geography, Literature, History

Studying the elements and labour of the river as well as the local literature and history.

Revision, Tests, Assesments of pupils
