All Bodrog Water Tour, starting from Slovakia
We offer it for those who intend to paddle through
the whole river from the very first station (in Slovakia) till the end (Tokaj).
The journey begins on Lake Sirava, then floating towards the rivers: Laborec, Ung, Ondava we
finis hit in Tokaj where Bodrog confluences the River Tisza.
The preserved flora and fauna, the cultural- historical sights of the
neighbourhood as well as the world-
famous wine- growing area must be an outstanding attraction of its own.
The journey to Mihalovce must be privately
organised- if required by groups, a bus can be provided by us. This cost is not
included in the price. The route from Sárospatak is about 75 km.
Program:
Day 1: Arrival on Biela Hora Campsite, Sirava. Pitching
tents, social evening, etc.
Day 2: Theoretical and practical paddling instructions on the lake.
Trying different types of canoes.
Day 3: water trip on the River Laborec then on River Ung we stop at the
2nd station, Vojani. Illicit camping at night.
Day 4: Water trip from Vojani
to Zemplin (village in Slovakia)
Day 5: Water trip to
Felsőberecki, the first Hungarian station. Accomodation in a campsite. In the
evening a walking trip to the famous building which consists of a special pump for
inland waters.
Day 6: Water trip to Sárazsadány, resting in
Sárospatak meanwhile (visit to the downtown and the Rákóczi Castle)
Day 7: Water trip to Tokaj, downtown walk or wine- cellar visit
optional.

Participation
fee: 30.600 HUF (deposit of 40%). The sum consists of
the fees of campsite and accomodation for 6 days (where available), meals two
times a day (breakfast and a two- course dinner), charge of kayak / canoe or
bikes and the costs of them and luggage’s land carriage, fees of guides and
instructors.
